Winter Retreat 2021/2022 : Lojong, Seven-point Mind Training with Lama Michel Rinpoche
The seven points mind training was brought to Tibet from Atisha and written by Geshe Chekawa (1102-1176). He introduced the traditional doctrine of the ‘seven points training’ with the following divisions. ‘The preliminaries and the Bodhichitta training, how to transform adverse circumstances into the path, understanding the ways to transform the mind, advices for the actual practice’.
 
The Seven Points are:
1 the preliminaries of the mind training;
2 the main practice of the Bodhichitta mind training;
3 transforming adversities into the Path towards Awakening;
4 applying the practice during the entire life;
5 the signs of having mastered the mind training;
6 the commitments of the mind training;
7 the precepts of the mind training.
 
L’Addestramento Mentale in Sette Punti fu portato in Tibet da Atisha e scritto da Ghesce Chekawa (1102-1176). Egli formulò la tradizionale dottrina chiamata dei Sette Punti in cui vengono insegnati: i preliminari e l’addestramento alla bodhicitta, come trasformare le circostanze avverse in favorevoli, come comprendere i criteri per trasformare la mente, i consigli per l’esecuzione di questa pratica.
